Snowsport South (SRSA) is running two "Winter Series" races, on Sunday 2 February at Aldershot and Saturday 22 March at Snowtrax.

The Aldershot race will consist of individual timed runs followed by a dual slalom if time allows. Entries will be taken on the day. Practice will start at 8:00 and the racing will finish at 11:00. If you have any queries, please contact Brian Davies via chairman@snowsportsouth.org.uk .

Information regarding the LSERSA AGM:

Dear clubs and members

As already notified the LSERSA AGM will be held at 7.00pm on Wednesday 6th November 2013 at Bromley Ski Centre. Attached please find the Agenda for the AGM together with the current list of committee members and those wishing to stand as at today. Also attached is the Agenda for the Committee meeting which will follow the AGM.

Nominations for committee positions must be received by Sue Vale (suevale@hotmail.co.uk) by 9pm on Monday 4th November. All nominations must be proposed and seconded by current full member clubs of LSERSA.

Should there be more than one person standing for any position, a vote will be taken by a show of hands at the AGM. Each club affiliated to LSERSA is entitled to 1 vote. We hope that as many clubs as possible will be represented at the AGM.

The sixth and final round of the Snowsport South (SRSA) 2013 race series was held at Snowtrax on Saturday 28th September. Full results are available on their website.

Race day

• Mark Oliver was 2nd in Male 50+ category.

Honorable mention for Nigel Hilliard, who was 4th in the Male 50+ category.

Overall series results

• Charlotte Hilliard was 3rd overall in the Female 13-14 category.
• Mark Oliver was 2nd overall in the Male 50+ category

The club AGM and Fun Race were held on Friday 20th September; full results below

We will be holding our AGM and fun Ski race on Friday 20th September, with pizzas and medals presented at Bowles after the race.

Times will be based on the fastest of 3 runs, with a course inspection (snowplough) allowed in advance. The awards are as follows:

• Handicap - Winner, Silver and Bronze
• Fastest Overall - Gold, Silver & Bronze
• Fastest 14 & Under - Gold, Silver and Bronze
• Fastest 10 & Under - Gold, Silver and Bronze
• Fastest Lady - Gold, Silver & Bronze
• The ‘Tiger’ Trophy (Coaches Award)

The 14 & Under / 10 & Under classes are based on age on 1st January 2013. The current handicaps (up to 2nd August) are below:
